Penn Medicine Park: More Than a Ballpark

What the name change means, the season, tickets, parking, and year-round fun
What & When: The Name Change
Until February 12, 2025, the stadium at 650 North Prince Street was known as Clipper Magazine Stadium
As of that date, a multi-year partnership with Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health (LG Health) was announced, and the stadium was rebranded as Penn Medicine Park.
The goals of the partnership include making the park not only a sports venue, but also a hub for health, wellness, and community engagement: health screenings, wellness programs, healthier food options, etc.
How the Change Helps the Community
Here are a few ways this rebranding and partnership bring benefits:
Health outreach & awareness: By teaming with a major healthcare system, the venue will host health screenings and wellness programs, helping people in Lancaster access health resources in a familiar, accessible venue.
Healthy food options: The plan includes expanding healthier concessions at the park to give fans more nutritious choices.
Community gathering space: Beyond baseball, Penn Medicine Park is being positioned as a place for concerts, festivals, trade shows, charitable events etc., making it more useful year-round for the community.
Awareness of top local health issues: The partnership helps draw attention to health challenges in the region, giving LG Health another platform for education and prevention.
Season, Tickets & Types of Plans
The Stormers’ baseball season begins around May (for 2025, opening was May 25).
They offer different ticket/package options: full-season tickets, half-season tickets, flex plans (10-game etc.), and special plans such as “Silver Stormers” for over-55 fans, and kid-club memberships (“Storm Force”) for younger fans.
Ticket pricing (for general admission) ranges roughly between $13 to about $22.50 for regular games.
For some events, prices can go higher (concerts, etc.), depending on seating, event type.
Parking & Venue Logistics
There are 3 main parking lots on game days that are free to the public, offering over 1,200 parking spaces.
Bag policy: small clutch/fanny pack sized bags, clear bags under certain dimensions, medical/diaper bags allowed.
The facility is cashless (concessions, etc.)—credit cards, Apple Pay etc.
